Dozing duck...

Took Peeps up to see grandma on Saturday.
Grandma thought is was just the greatest thing
that a duck has a stroller! Peeps seems very
comfortable in her stroller...here she is laying
down with her head out the front. She even
dosed off a few times like this!

Sorry, I know it has been a while since I have blogged, but a lot has been going on. Hopefully by the end of the month me, Peeps and Nic will be moving into the new house in Orange. We are all very excited :) Actually Peeps has not even been there yet, but I am hoping to take her there this weekend to get her opinion!

Who is the most pampered duck in the world? Nope, not Donald Duck...it is Peepers! She got to try out her new ride last night and she seemed to like it. We only wheeled her around the house but still she seemed quite comfortable in it. We will be taking it for a test run at the park or beach this weekend :-)

Pimp Peeps' Ride...

Well I went and did it...I (we) bought Peeps a stroller so we can take her for "walks." :-) I will post pics of her and her new ride as soon as I can!

Happy New Year!

Hope everyone had a happy and safe new year. Peeps got to spend New Year's Eve outside all night and that is probably why there was no egg in the cage in the morning...TOO COLD! But after I spent a day of geocaching and Nic went to the movies with her family we got a surprise. Nic got home and went to check on Peeps and there was no egg...about a half an hour later I got there and went out back and there was an egg in the duckuzzi! I asked Peeps if she put that there and she shook her head no, it was funny. Nic was surprised that it was there because she had just been out there a half an hour earlier. Peeps is full of surprises!
All 3 of us spent the weekend up in Ojai at grandma's house. Grandma was very happy to see HER duck...but me being the bad mommy I forgot Peeps dry food and since it is not something you can just run to the pet store to get we had to come up with something else. So we stopped at Petco in Camarillo and headed to the dog food section. We talked to a Nutro rep. who recommended an all natural dog food for Peeps. She seemed to like it but I don't think it agreed with her tummy too well...so lesson learned...DON'T FORGET THE PEEPS FOOD! But we did find a great treat for Peeps in the dog section that she seems to really love...Charlee Bear Cheese and Egg. Me and grandma even tried them!!! :-) Yum...Charlee bear Cheese & Egg treats...grandma tested...Peeps approved!
